Below you will find a list of tutorials to help you navigate ex.CITE
How can I search for references, insert and lookup references using ex.CITE?
You may search for references in the Reference section of the add-in. The current legal sources are divided into Cases and Treaties. Start typing a case number, a case, or a treaty party in the search bar and see the results appear in the results window below.

From the results window, you may click on the relevant buttons to insert your references or open the legal sources in a browser at jusmundi.com.
How can I generate and delete bibliography?
Once you have inserted your references throughout your document, you may generate your bibliography (table of authorities) by clicking Generate button in the Bibliography -> Create section of the add-in. Please note that only existing references will be included in your bibliography at this point. If you have new references to add to your document after generating your bibliography, please click Generate again.

The Bibliography -> Create window will allow you to customize your table of authorities and select the reference numbers that you would like to assign to your references throughout your document. You may always delete your bibliography and the reference numbers by clicking Delete button.
How can I edit references in my document and bibliography?
You may edit your references in the Bibliography -> Modify -> Edit section of the add-in. Follow the instructions in the window to edit your reference and apply the change throughout your document. Please note, the edit will apply only to the existing references. If you add references after using the Edit function, you may have to use the Edit function again to apply your changes.
How can I manually add references to bibliography?
You may manually add a reference to your bibliography (and assign a reference number to it) even if you did not use the Reference function to insert the reference to your document. To add such a reference manually, please navigate to the Bibliography -> Modify -> Add section of the add-in and follow the instructions in the window.

Please note, the Add function will create a 1J-JM block and a tag around your manually added reference. If you intend to cite the same reference in your document again, please copy and paste the entire block. Otherwise, the add-in will not recognize your reference and will disregard it when you attempt to assign reference numbers.
What is the purpose of the CHECK button, and how can I check my references for inconsistencies?
Please note, if you have inconsistent references throughout your document, you would not be able to proceed when you generate your bibliography. The add-in will ask you to select one uniform citation for each reference. You may always check your references for inconsistencies by navigating to Bibliography -> Check window of the add-in and select a uniform citation for each reference if any inconsistencies are found in your document.
How can I delete a reference from bibliography?
You may delete a reference from bibliography by navigating to Bibliography -> Modify -> Delete window and following the instructions. You may always restore your reference in the bibliography in the same window.
